Establishing An Account
We normally require some form of retainer or payment in advance for our
services.
 | For Service of Process and Pre-Employment Background Investigations, the
service fee must be paid in full at the time the service is ordered, unless
the client has established a retainer account. Clients that do not have a
retainer account will need to complete a Method of Payment form, and make
an advanced payment of the service fee by check or credit card, using the
process described on the Method of Payment form. Upon completion of the
Service of Process, or Pre-Employment Background Investigation, the client
will receive a paid invoice with the Affidavit of Service or Report of
Background Investigation.
|
 | For Litigation Support and other General and Technical Investigative Services we normally
require that new customers pay an advance equal to half of the cost estimate
that the client has approved for the investigation. Clients
that do not have an established Retainer Account will need to complete a
Method of Payment form, and make payment of the advance fee by check or
credit card, using the process described on the form. After deposit of the advance, the client will receive a detailed
invoice on a monthly basis for the services we provide under that
investigation. Payment of the invoiced amount is due and payable upon
receipt of our invoice. Upon conclusion of the investigation, the
client's advance will be applied to any outstanding balance and the client
will receive a detailed final invoice with a refund of any portion of the
advance that was not applied to the final billing. Advances are not
required for regular customers that have established a Retainer Account.
|
 | Retainer Accounts - Law firms and businesses can establish a Retainer Account
through initial deposit of a retainer. The amount of the retainer will vary,
depending upon the volume and types of services the client anticipates
ordering. Each month, clients with established Retainer Accounts will
receive a detailed invoice for all investigative services that were
provided during the month. The
advantage of establishing a retainer account is that the client can order
multiple services immediately using that single account, track investigative costs
by case, and make one payment a month for all of the services that were
ordered. No advanced payment and no Method of Payment Form are required
when clients establish a retainer account. Please call us at

Making Payments - Advances, retainers, and monthly billings can be paid
by check or by credit card using the procedures described in our Method of
Payment form.
