The Informer Lite is a low cost, real time web-based GPS Tracking unit for Surveillance or Fleet Operations. The unit has internal GPS and cell phone antennas so that all you have to do is connect the device to vehicle power, install it under the dashboard or behind the glove box, and activate the unit from your office PC.

With the Informer Light, fleet vehicles are tracked or located from your office PC.  Simply log in to our Service Provider’s website to view a map showing the most recent location of the entire fleet.  You set polling frequencies, geo-fence alerts, speed alerts, and other settings for each vehicle or the entire fleet from your computer. 

Using our web-based tracking system, you can monitor the location of your entire fleet, or track the movements of a particular vehicle. The system automatically polls each vehicle based on the frequency you select, stores that location history data, and displays the current location of each vehicle on a state-of the art web-based street mapping system. 

From your computer, you can select from a variety of reports or mapping options that display:

·        Daily Route History

·        Speed or Geo Fence Alerts

·        Address and Duration of all Stops

For this unit, Monthly Service Fee Plans from our Service Provider are based on the number of polling locates you plan to use each month and this Service Provider requires a 12 month contract. Service Plans are priced below. Plan 3 will typically provide sufficient coverage to update your unit's location every 3 minutes, and record all ignition stops and starts.  If more frequent updates or "Live Tracking" is essential to your operation, we suggest that you consider the USFT X5 unit, which provides updates every 10 seconds at a flat rate of $39.95/mos).
